El patrimonio documental de la Junta de Cudeyo (siglos XVI-XIX): análisis y descripción archivística

Abstract

El patrimonio documental en el ámbito español es sin duda muy abundante y diverso en sus tipologías, instituciones productoras y de conservación, componiendo uno de los elementos fundamentales de la cultura e historia. El objetivo de este Trabajo de Fin de Máster es describir el fondo documental producido por la Junta de Cudeyo entre los siglos XVI y XIX, a partir de la documentación civil contenida en el Archivo Histórico Catedralicio y Diocesano de Santander. Así se podrán conocer las circunstancias que han propiciado su conservación hasta la actualidad, dentro de los fondos de la Merindad de Trasmiera. La metodología consistirá en recopilar la documentación original, recomponer su historia como fondo, analizar sus características físicas y tipológicas y contextualizarlo. Todo ello se llevará a cabo tomando como base la labor archivística.

The documentary heritage in the Spanish context is undoubtedly very abundant and diverse in its typologies, producing and preserving institutions, composing one of the fundamental elements of culture and history. The objective of this Master's Thesis is to describe the documentary collection produced by the Junta de Cudeyo between the 16th and 19th centuries, based on the civil documentation contained in the Historical Cathedral and Diocesan Archive of Santander. This will allow us to understand the circumstances that have led to its preservation to the present day, within the collections of the Merindad de Trasmiera. The methodology will consist of gathering the original documentation, reconstructing its history as a collection, analysing its physical and typological characteristics, and contextualizing it. All of this will be carried out based on archival work.
