Resumen/Abstract
The description of the design,
implementation and test results of MMIC low noise
amplifiers and their integration to built the RF part of
the Q-band Back-End Module (BEM) of the Planck
mission is presented. Mismatching between amplifiers
has been analysed in order to know its contribution in the
ripple of the transducer power gain and therefore the
effect in the effective bandwidth. The ripple due to
mismatching has been reduced through an attenuator
between amplifiers. A microstrip attenuator without vias
has been designed and tested. An improvement in the RF
BEM effective bandwidth has been achieved after
integrating the attenuator between amplifiers.
