Ante el incipiente avance de nuevos sistemas inteligentes, de su capacidad de imitar diferentes aptitudes humanas de forma casi idéntica, y no habiendo llegado todavía al punto álgido de su expansión, se hace necesario plantearse qué características pueden generar un conflicto con los valores democráticos y aquellos que rigen el respeto a los derechos de cada individuo. Una vez se hayan detectado estos factores que suponen un elemento indeseado, habrá que pensar cuáles son las herramientas que, desde una perspectiva jurídica y ética, pueden darse para combatirlos. De forma análoga debemos sondear la posibilidad que nuevos derechos afloren a consecuencia de esta revolución tecnológica y cuales corren el peligro de quedar desprotegidos ante la falta de una regulación correcta. In light of the incipient advance of new intelligent systems, their ability to imitate different human skills almost identically, and not yet having reached the peak of their expansion, it becomes necessary to consider what characteristics might generate a conflict with democratic values and those that govern respect for the rights of each individual. Once these factors that constitute an undesirable element have been identified, it will be necessary to consider what tools, from a legal and ethical perspective, can be employed to combat them. Similarly, we must explore the possibility that new rights may emerge as a result of this technological revolution and which ones are at risk of becoming unprotected due to a lack of proper regulation.
