Puesta en valor y gestión del patrimonio de los indianos

Abstract

El objetivo principal de este Trabajo Final de Máster consiste en analizar la gestión del patrimonio indiano en España a través de diversas entidades que se ocupan de ello. Este análisis debe conducir a una crítica de la gestión y la elaboración de propuestas de gestión para el futuro. Este es el patrimonio material (mueble e inmueble) e inmaterial de quienes desde España emigraron a América y Filipinas durante las Edades Moderna y Contemporánea y regresaron a la metrópoli, construyendo sus residencias y obras para el bien común, como escuelas, hospitales, asilos, traídas de agua... Este patrimonio se extiende por toda España, pero especialmente por la cornisa cantábrica y Cataluña. El TFM se propone estudiar la gestión cultural y turística de este patrimonio llevada a cabo por la Xarxa de Municipis Indians y la Red de Municipios Indianos del Norte, asociaciones que abarcan diecisiete municipios desde Galicia hasta la costa mediterránea y que mantienen relación coordinamente entre sí. El trabajo estudia el impacto real de dichas asociaciones en el conocimiento y difusión del patrimonio indiano analizando su presencia en Internet, en publicaciones, en actos públicos y en la conservación de dicho patrimonio. The present Master ́s final dissertation aims to analyze the management of the “Indianos” (retourned emigrants) in Spain through different entities that work on them. This analysis should lead to a critique of the current management and give a proposal for future management projects. This is the immovable, movable but also intangible heritage from those that emigrated to America and Philippines during the Early Modern Period and Modern Age and came back to their metropolis, building their homes and doing works for the greater good, such as schools, hospitals, asylums... We can find this heritage in all Spanish regions, but specially ond the Cantabrian Cornise and Catalunya. This Master ́s final dissertation aims to study the cultual and turistic management done bythe Xarxa de Municipis Indians and the Red de Municipios Indianos del Norte, associations that work with seventeen municipalities from Galicia to the Mediterranean Coast and have a tight profesional relationship. This paper studies the impact of these associations on the knowledge and promotion of the “Indianos” heritage, analyzing their presence on the Internet as well as on publicaitons, public events and the conservation of the mencionad heritage
