Uso de Altavoces Inteligentes en el Hogar para Tareas de Matemáticas en Educación Primaria

Abstract

Este Trabajo de fin de grado (TFG) se centra en analizar el uso de altavoces inteligentes para realizar tareas escolares de matemáticas en Educación Primaria. Dado que estos dispositivos electrónicos han salido al mercado hace pocos años, su impacto en la educación no ha sido ampliamente estudiado, ya que, la mayoría de la sociedad asocia su uso a tareas de ocio y entretenimiento. Para investigar este uso, se ha diseñado una encuesta con el objetivo de recopilar datos sobre la utilización de estos dispositivos para la realización de tareas escolares, enfocándose concretamente en la asignatura de matemáticas. Esta encuesta, se ha distribuido a un gran número de AMPAs en los centros de Educación Primaria de la comunidad de Cantabria y los encuestados fueron los padres de los alumnos. Por consiguiente, los resultados fueron analizados, proporcionando información sobre el objetivo general del informe. En términos generales, los datos revelaron que existe una reticencia hacia los altavoces inteligentes por parte de los padres de los niños de educación primaria, ya que, no creen necesario su uso en estas edades, tienen temor a que su nivel matemático decaiga y que generen dependencia de estos aparatos. Por otro lado, se requiere promover una formación adecuada a todos los involucrados (padres, profesores y alumnos), incluyendo pautas claras para evitar posibles riesgos. Un uso adecuado de estas tecnologías fomentará la motivación y participación de los alumnos, y con ello, su nivel académico

This Final Degree Project (TFG) focuses on analysing the use of smart speakers for mathematics homework in Primary Education. Given that these electronic devices have only been on the market for a few years, their impact on education has not been widely studied, since most of society associates their use with leisure and entertainment tasks. In order to investigate this use, a survey was designed with the aim of collecting data on the use of these devices for schoolwork, focusing specifically on the subject of mathematics. This survey was distributed to a large number of AMPAs in primary schools in the community of Cantabria and the respondents were the parents of the pupils. Consequently, the results were analysed, providing information on the general objective of the report. In general terms, the data revealed that there is a reluctance towards smart speakers on the part of the parents of primary school children, as they do not believe it is necessary to use them at this age, they are afraid that their mathematical level will decline and that they will become dependent on these devices. On the other hand, it is necessary to promote adequate training for all those involved (parents, teachers and students), including clear guidelines to avoid possible risks. Appropriate use of these technologies will encourage students' motivation and participation, and with it, their academic level.
