dc.description.abstract | An ultra-low cost and high performance RF and
microwave power sensor based on a “zero-bias” low-cost plastic
package Schottky diode for research and educational purposes
have been developed. A high impedance video output has been
added to the detector circuitry in order to make compatible this
device with the rest of the circuitry available in a basic RF
laboratory. The able to detect RF power in a wide frequency
range (0.5-3 GHz) coupled with the ultra-low cost makes this
