Miedos y Fobias en el alumnado de Educación Infantil: prevención e intervención educativa en el aula

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo destacar la importancia de la gestión de los miedos y las fobias en el ámbito educativo, específicamente en la etapa de Educación Infantil. Este trabajo busca arrojar luz sobre los aspectos teóricos y aplicados relacionados con esta temática. Los miedos son respuestas evolutivas que acompañan a una persona a lo largo de su vida, estando también muy presentes en las aulas. En ocasiones, cuando se vuelven desadaptativos, los miedos pueden convertirse en un problema, afectando el desarrollo académico y socioemocional del alumnado y llegando incluso a transformarse en fobias. Por lo tanto, es esencial comprender esta temática e implementar acciones de prevención y gestión de los miedos en el ámbito educativo, favoreciendo así el desarrollo adecuado del alumnado. En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado se profundiza en la literatura científica para definir los conceptos de miedo y fobia, conocer las diferentes técnicas de intervención existentes y presentar una propuesta de intervención en el aula destinada a ayudar al alumnado a mejorar su capacidad de prevenir el desarrollo de respuestas desadaptativas y enfrentar posibles situaciones y estímulos potencialmente fóbicos.

The aim of this document is to highlight the importance of the management of fears and phobias in the educational environment, specifically in the Early Childhood Education stage. This work seeks to shed light on the theoretical and applied aspects related to this topic. Fears are evolutionary responses that accompany a person throughout a lifetime and are also very present in the classroom. Sometimes, when they become maladaptive, fears can become a problem, affecting the academic and socio-emotional development of students and even turning into phobias. Therefore, it is essential to understand this issue and implement actions for the prevention and management of fears in the educational environment, thus favouring the proper development of students. In this Final Degree Project, we delve into the scientific literature to define the concepts of fear and phobia, to know the different existing intervention techniques and to present a proposal for intervention in the classroom aimed at helping students to improve their ability to prevent the development of maladaptive responses and to face possible situations and potentially phobic stimuli.
