Análisis de las aulas de Educación Infantil en Cantabria en el curso 2023-2024: Espacios, materiales y autonomía. Un enfoque cualitativo

Abstract

Los niños y niñas, desde su nacimiento, interactúan con su entorno y los objetos que los rodean, motivados por su necesidad de explorar. Esta interacción les permite ser protagonistas de su propio desarrollo, aprendiendo a través de las relaciones que establecen con los objetos. Esto incluye elementos físicos, espacios, materiales y relaciones afectivas y sociales, los cuales potencian el desarrollo personal y la adquisición de nuevos conocimientos. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal analizar el entorno educativo de las aulas de Educación Infantil de Cantabria, explorando los espacios y los materiales utilizados en ellas y la relación que esto tiene con la imagen de infancia concebida por cada maestro y maestra. La investigación empleará un enfoque cualitativo con una muestra no probabilística de tipo intencional, dirigida a 12 maestras y 1 técnico de Educación Infantil. Para analizar los resultados, se han utilizado tres instrumentos de recogida de información, los cuales revelan que los espacios y materiales utilizados influyen en diversos aspectos como la autonomía, el juego y la socialización.

Children, from the moment they born, interact with their environment and the objects around them, motivated by their need to explore. This interaction allows them to be protagonists of their own development, learning through the relationships they establish with objects. This includes physical elements, spaces, materials, and affective and social relationships, which improves personal development and acquisition of new knowledge. The main objective of this research is to analyze the educational environment of Early Childhood Education classrooms in Cantabria, exploring the spaces and materials used in them and the relationship this has with the vision of childhood conceived by each teacher. The research will use a qualitative approach with a non-probabilistic, intentional sample, directed to 12 teachers and 1 Early Childhood Education technician. To analyze the results, 3 instruments were used, which reveal that the spaces and materials used influence various aspects such as autonomy, play, and socialization
