Resumen/Abstract
In this paper we present a new Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) model of transient wave propagation in dispersive chiral media. The constitutive relationships in Laplace domain are mapped onto the Z-transform domain by means of the Mobius transformation and a formulation discretized according to Yee´s scheme is derived using appropriate digital-processing methodologies. The resulting approach preserves the second-order accuracy of the conventional FDTD technique. The method has been validated by computing the reflection and transmission coefficients of a chiral slab.
