Análisis económico-financiero del sector textil

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la evolución del sector textil durante los últimos 4 años, así como estudiar su situación actual. Este sector es uno de los más influyentes en nuestro país, aunque haya tenido una trayectoria inestable con crisis como la de 2008 y la pandemia sufrida en 2020. A pesar de ello, se ha recuperado de forma rápida continuando su crecimiento para llegar a cumplir su objetivo de ser referente en esta industria dentro del territorio europeo. Para realizar el análisis económico y financiero primero se ha seleccionado una rama de actividad dentro de la Clasificación Nacional de Actividades Económicas, en este caso la actividad 4771 “Comercio al por menor de prendas de vestir en establecimientos especializados”. Posteriormente se ha sacado una muestra a través de SABI de 165 empresas, que contenía datos recogidos en el Balance de situación y la Cuenta de Pérdidas y Ganancias. Por último, se ha realizado un análisis a largo y corto plazo, así como un análisis de resultados y rentabilidades. Las conclusiones a las que se ha llegado es que es un sector en constante crecimiento. Sin embargo, de las ratios analizadas se ha podido comprobar que es un sector que acumula mucho efectivo y esto le está haciendo perder rentabilidad. Además, la mayoría de sus empresas no cuentan con autonomía financiera respecto del exterior. Cabe destacar también que cada vez se aprecia más una polarización en las empresas de este sector. Por tanto, si se corrigieran estos problemas, se produciría un gran impulso en esta industria.

The following essay aims to analyze the evolution of the textile sector in the last four years, as well as study its current situation. This sector is one of the most influential in our country, although it has had an unstable trajectory due to some crisis such as the crisis of 2008 and the one suffered during the pandemic in 2020. Nevertheless, this industry has recovered rapidly continuing with its growth in order to fulfill its objective of being a referent in the sector within the European territory. In order to carry out the economic and financial analysis, firstly, an activity branch among the National Classification of Economic Activities (CNAE) has been chosen, in this case the activity 4771 “Retail trade of clothing in specialized establishments”. Subsequently, a sample, which contained data included in the Statement of Financial position and the Profit and Loss Account, has been taken via SABI from 165 companies. Finally, a longand short-term analysis has been conducted, as well as a result and profitability analysis. The conclusions that have been reached are that this is a sector in constant growth. Nevertheless, from the studied ratios it has been possible to verify that it is a sector that accumulates lots of cash, and this is causing them to lose profitability. In addition, many of its companies do not have financial autonomy. It should also be mentioned that a polarization of the business in this sector is increasing. Therefore, if these problems were solved, there would be a great boost in this industry.
