dc.description.abstractIn this paper, we report the design of a waveguideto- microstrip transition at W band as well as the technical considerations to take into account during the design and fabrication. In the same way, a double back-to-back waveguideto- microstrip transition has been designed and fabricated to be measured with a PNA Millimeter-Wave Network Analyzer. This structure will serve to assemble MMICs at these high frequencies. A comparison between an electromagnetic simulation and the measurements obtained in the laboratory is shown. Moreover, we show a more accuracy simulation taking into account the real dimensions and the real position of the microstrip lines used within the transition. It can be seen how this realistic simulation is more similar to the obtained measurements.es_ES
