Una educación libre de estereotipos de género. La coeducación en Educación Infantil.

Abstract

En este trabajo se ha llevado a cabo una revisión sistemática de la literatura (2012-2022) en la que se han recopilado 24 estudios sobre la igualdad de género en Educación Infantil. Por un lado, los realizados en las aulas de esta etapa educativa tratan sobre los estereotipos de género del alumnado de infantil, los materiales y los recursos didácticos utilizados, las actitudes y las opiniones del profesorado de Educación Infantil sobre la enseñanza de la igualdad de género y los programas de formación con iniciativas sobre esta temática dirigidas a docentes en activo. Por otro lado, los llevados a cabo en el Grado de Educación Infantil abordan el conocimiento que tiene el alumnado de magisterio sobre la igualdad de género y la formación inicial que recibe. Estos estudios se han extraído de las principales bases de datos (WOS, Scopus y Dialnet) y se ha analizado en profundidad la información relativa a los diseños de la investigación, los instrumentos utilizados, los participantes y los principales resultados encontrados. En cuanto al diseño de la investigación, se observa que todos se centran en el paradigma cualitativo, siendo el instrumento de recopilación de datos más utilizado la entrevista semiestructurada tanto para el alumnado de magisterio como para el profesorado de infantil en activo. Aunque existe un predominio de estudios que se centran en este último y en las diferentes estrategias que emplea para educar en igualdad. Al mismo tiempo, se ha comprobado que se focalizan más en las feminidades y muy poco en las masculinidades.

A systematic review of the literature (2012-2022) has been carried out, in which 24 studies on gender equality in Early Childhood Education have been compiled. On the one hand, those carried out in the classrooms of this educational stage deal with the gender stereotypes of early childhood education students, the materials and teaching resources used, the attitudes and opinions of early childhood education teachers on the teaching of gender equality. and training programs with initiatives on this subject aimed at active teachers. On the other hand, those carried out in the Early Childhood Education Degree address the knowledge that teaching students have about gender equality and the initial training they receive. These studies have been extracted from the main databases (WOS, Scopus and Dialnet) and the information related to the research designs, the instruments used, the participants and the main results found have been analyzed in depth. Regarding the design of the research, it is observed that all of them focus on the qualitative paradigm, with the most used data collection instrument being the semi-structured interview for both teaching students and active early childhood education teachers. Although there is a predominance of studies that focus on the latter and on the different strategies used to educate in equality. At the same time, it has been found that they focus more on femininities and very little on masculinities.
