Durante los últimos años, el cálculo mental ha obtenido gran importancia, siendo un contenido básico y fundamental en las aulas de los centros educativos. Por ello, con este Trabajo de Fin de Grado, se intentará responder la pregunta ¿Qué importancia le dan los docentes al cálculo mental en Educación Primaria?
Para llevar a cabo esta investigación, se analizó previamente la literatura bibliográfica sobre este contenido. Posteriormente, se entrevistó a tutores de centros educativos de Educación Primaria en Cantabria. Para finalizar, se analizaron los datos obtenidos y se extrajeron los principales resultados.
Estos revelan la importancia que los docentes otorgan al cálculo mental, pero su poca práctica en el aula. Se observa además diferencias en la forma de trabajarlo, de planificarlo y de cómo está presente en los libros de texto
During the last years, mental calculation has obtained great importance, being a basic and fundamental content in the classrooms of educational centers. Therefore, with this Final Degree Project, we will try to answer the question: What importance do teachers give to mental calculation in Primary Education?
To carry out this research, the bibliographical literature on this content was previously analyzed. Subsequently, tutors from schools of Primary Education in Cantabria were interviewed. Finally, the data obtained were analyzed and the main results were extracted.
These reveal the importance that teachers give to mental calculation, but little practice in the classroom. Differences are also observed in the way of working on it, planning it and how it is present in textbooks
