El abordaje del maltrato infantil desde el contexto educativo: una propuesta de prevención centrada en el buen trato

Abstract

Las situaciones de desprotección que afectan a la infancia tienen una presencia elevada a lo largo de toda la historia, siendo actualmente, uno de los focos más activos de violencia al menor y un problema de salud pública a nivel mundial. En vista de esta realidad, se propone una intervención con el fin de abordar la prevención del maltrato infantil en el contexto educativo, siendo los docentes una agente clave para llevar a cabo dicha labor preventiva. La propuesta se basa en promover el buen trato, dotando a los niños de herramientas que les hagan capaces de identificar las prácticas de buen trato, y proporcionándoles herramientas necesarias para favorecer un clima en el aula y en la convivencia basado en la comunicación y la confianza.

The situations of lack of protection that affect children have a high presence throughout history, currently being one of the most active sources of violence against minors and a public health problem worldwide. In view of this reality, an intervention is proposed in order to address the prevention of child abuse in the educational context, teachers being a key agent to carry out this preventive work. The proposal is based on promoting good treatment, providing children with tools that make them capable of identifying good treatment practices, and providing them with the necessary tools to promote a good atmosphere in the classroom and coexistence based on communication and trust
