Perspectiva infantil poderosa: La escucha a la infancia para aproximarse a ser la maestra o el maestro ideal

Abstract

En este estudio se pretende conocer la perspectiva infantil acerca de cómo sería su maestro ideal. Para ello, se cuenta con la participación voluntaria de 18 niños y niñas del segundo ciclo de Educación Infantil. Se ha llevado a cabo un estudio de caso de un aula de cuatro años utilizando la técnica combinada del dibujo y las conversaciones con los niños. Se han analizado todas y cada una de sus aportaciones llegando a profundizar en sus opiniones, sentimientos, emociones, creencias y expectativas sobre el asunto tratado. Los resultados muestran las bases de las ideas y perspectivas de la infancia acerca de cómo tiene que ser un buen docente, para responder a todo lo que los niños solicitan. Como conclusión, se considera que recoger la mirada infantil sobre un aspecto tan esencial de la educación aporta conocimientos muy profundos para contribuir a la mejora de la práctica educativa.

This study aims to know the children's perspective about what their ideal teacher would be like. For this, there is the voluntary participation of 18 boys and girls from the second cycle of Early Childhood Education. It has also been carried out a study of a four-year-old classroom using the combined technique of drawing and conversations with the children. Each and every one of their contributions has been analyzed, delving into their opinions, feelings, emotions, beliefs and expectations on the subject matter. The results show the bases of the ideas and perspectives of children about how has to be a good a teacher, to answer everything that children request. In conclusion, it is considered that collecting the child's gaze on such an essential aspect of education gives us very deep knowledge to contribute to the improvement of educational practice.
