Un mundo verde. Educación medioambiental y desarrollo sostenible a través del álbum ilustrado en la Educación Primaria.

Abstract

En el mundo actual afrontamos diversos problemas ambientales que afectan a distintos ámbitos de nuestras vidas y a los entornos naturales que nos rodean. En las últimas décadas estos han ido en aumento debido a la sobreproducción de materiales y otras sustancias consideradas contaminantes producidas por el ser humano y que generan un impacto negativo en nuestro planeta. Por otro lado, el uso masivo de energías no renovables en la sociedad actual sigue siendo el principal motor de la industria. Es por ello por lo que surge la necesidad de realizar un cambio en la perspectiva y el comportamiento del ser humano en relación con el medioambiente. Para ello, es necesario abordar esta problemática desde el sistema educativo, formando a futuros ciudadanos responsables, críticos y concienciados con la protección medioambiental. La propuesta que se presenta en este trabajo está enfocada al diseño de una unidad didáctica que vincula el desarrollo sostenible y la literatura, trabajando con el álbum ilustrado como recurso principal y con el objetivo de potenciar en el alumnado de Primaria una conciencia ecológica que ayude en el futuro a remediar los distintos problemas de nuestro planeta.

In today's world we face several environmental issues that affect different areas of our lives and the natural environments that surround us. In recent decades these problems have been increasing due to the overproduction of materials and other substances considered pollutants produced by humans and that generate a negative impact on our planet. On the other hand, the massive use of non-renewable energies in today's society continues to be the main alternative. Therefore, it is necessary to deal with this problem from the educational system, forming future responsible, critical, and aware citizens of environmental protection. The proposal presented in this document focuses on the design of a didactic unit that links environmental education and literature, working with the illustrated album as the main resource and with the aim of promoting in Primary students an ecological awareness that helps in the future to remedy the different problems of our planet.
