Este Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) se centra en la importancia de crear y trabajar
el hábito lector en edades tempranas a través de actividades que fomentan la
alfabetización visual, tomando como punto de partida el uso de un álbum
ilustrado que se ha confeccionado para este fin. Con este objetivo, se ofrece un
marco teórico en el que se recoge el contexto histórico de la literatura infantil y
su evolución hasta lo que conocemos hoy en día, de modo que se define qué se
entiende por álbum ilustrado. Tal es la importancia de este tipo de libro por su
carácter lúdico y didáctico, que, en este trabajo, se ha creado un álbum ilustrado
con su correspondiente propuesta de implementación en el aula de Infantil. El
álbum, titulado ¡Al Galope!, pertenece al subgénero informativo o documental
dado que tiene por objeto construir conocimiento de manera objetiva. Por ello,
este tipo de álbum se presta a su uso no solo como libro de lectura sino de trabajo
transversal dentro del aula, de ahí la creación de una propuesta de intervención
didáctica que permite la confección de actividades recogidas en el currículo de
Educación Infantil. Las sesiones que se han diseñado alrededor del álbum se
van construyendo según lo que el alumnado vaya aprendiendo de la historia con
la intención de culminar con una actividad final de manera vivencial con un alto
componente lúdico: del aula al establo
This Final Degree Thesis focuses on the importance of creating and working on
the reading habit at an early age, through activities that promote visual literacy,
taking as a starting point the use of a picture book that has been created for this purpose. With this objective in mind, a theoretical framework is offered in which
the historical context of children's literature and its evolution to what we know
today is described, defining what a picture book is. Such is the importance of this
type of work due to its playful and didactic nature that, in this essay, a picture
book has been created with its corresponding proposal for implementation in the
Early Years classroom. The picture book, entitled ¡Al Galope!, belongs to the
informative or documentary subgenre, given that its aim is to construct knowledge
in an objective manner; therefore, this type of book lends itself not only to be read
but also to be a transversal tool, hence, the creation of a proposal for didactic
intervention that allows for the preparation of activities included in the Early
Childhood Education curriculum. The sessions that have been designed around
the picture book are built according to what the pupils learn from the story with
the intention of concluding with a final activity in an experiential way which brings
in a high playful component: from the classroom to the stable.
