La importancia del reciclaje, lo que ello conlleva, y cómo enseñar a reciclar en las aulas de Educación Infantil.

Abstract

El reciclaje, y todo lo que este concepto abarca; sostenibilidad, economía circular, y su importancia en la sociedad actual. En este trabajo de fin de grado, se expone una reflexión acerca de la importancia de introducir la educación ambiental en las aulas de nuestros colegios, para el futuro de nuestra sociedad. Se profundiza acerca de los tipos de reciclaje que existen, se analizan los impactos positivos y negativos relacionados con la sostenibilidad, y se plantean soluciones para preservar La Tierra tal y como la conocimos, es decir, un lugar brindador de recursos necesarios, no sólo para la supervivencia del ser humano y de todas las especies, sino también para el bienestar. Asimismo, se tienen en cuenta las iniciativas por arte de diferentes organizaciones, y gobiernos acerca de la sostenibilidad, teniendo en cuenta también, el papel que toma este tema hoy en día en las aulas, y el que debería tomar para conseguir un cambio en la sociedad. Se propone una unidad didáctica para trabajar con niños de Educación infantil, la cual también puede ser adaptada para niños más mayores, y así enseñar respeto y cuidado por nuestro entorno natural, mientras interiorizan conceptos y hábitos óptimos para el medio ambiente. Se trata de una propuesta con vistas al futuro, para conseguir una sociedad mejor, basándose en un tema que está a la orden del día, y por el que constantemente los gobiernos proponen y buscan soluciones. Pero, ¿dónde está la solución a esta problemática?, muchos se preguntarán. La solución, está en los niños.

Recycling, and all that this concept encompasses; sustainability, circular economy, and its importance in today's society. This final project reflects on the importance of introducing environmental education in our school classrooms for the future of our society. It explores the types of recycling that exist, analyses the positive and negative impacts related to sustainability, and proposes solutions to preserve the Earth as we know it, a place that provides the necessary resources, not only for the survival of human beings and all species but also for well-being. It also takes into account the initiatives of different organisations and governments in the field of sustainability, as well as the role that this issue plays in the classroom today, and the role that it should play in order to bring about a change in society. A didactic unit is proposed to work with children in infant education, to teach respect and care for our natural environment, while they internalize concepts and optimal habits for the environment. It is a forward-looking proposal for a better society, based on an issue that is the order of the day, and for which governments are constantly proposing and seeking solutions. But where is the solution to this problem, many will ask themselves? The solution lies with the children.
