El ilustrador David Pintor en las aulas de Educación infantil

Abstract

Los álbumes ilustrados son un recurso muy empleado en las aulas de Educación Infantil. Se trata de un tipo de libros que se caracteriza por la relación que mantienen el texto con las ilustraciones. En este trabajo se realizará un estudio sobre uno de los ilustradores de álbumes más interesantes del panorama español actual, David Pintor. Tras la revisión de su figura y de las características de sus principales obras, se ha realizado una propuesta didáctica basada en uno de sus álbumes ilustrados, titulado 27 Casas. A partir de este estudio se muestra la importancia que tiene el uso del álbum para acercar la lectura a los niños de Infantil, para fomentar en ellos el hábito lector y, a su vez, la observación, imaginación, y creatividad. Por tanto, el objetivo de este trabajo no sólo es conocer, en profundidad, al ilustrador David Pintor sino, también, dar el reconocimiento que se debe a los álbumes ilustrados y su uso desde edades tempranas.

Illustrated albums are a widely used resource in Early Childhood Education classrooms. This is a type of book that is characterized by the relationship between the text and the illustrations. In this work, a study will be carried out on one of the most interesting album illustrators on the current Spanish scene, David Pintor. After reviewing his figure and the characteristics of his main works, a didactic proposal has been made based on one of his illustrated albums, entitled 27 Houses. From this study, the importance of the use of the album is shown to bring reading to children in Preschool, to promote in them the reading habit and, in turn, observation, imagination, and creativity. Therefore, the objective of this work is not only to know, in depth, the illustrator David Pintor, but also to give the recognition due to picture books and their use from an early age.
