El TEA (Trastorno del Espectro Autista) es un trastorno neurobiológico que afecta en el desarrollo de distintas habilidades sociales, comunicativas y comportamentales.
En el presente trabajo, se describen y analizan las estrategias de un estudiante del quinto curso de Educación Primaria con Trastorno del Espectro Autista al resolver problemas de origen probabilístico y combinatorio.
Para ello, en primer lugar, se expondrá un marco teórico que tendrá comienzo con la explicación de las principales características del TEA con el fin de poder comprender las dificultades que se van a tomar en consideración a lo largo de todo el trabajo de investigación. Posteriormente, se analizarán los contenidos necesarios que se encuentran relacionados con la resolución de problemas de probabilidad y combinatoria, y referentes relacionados con el aprendizaje de la resolución de problemas en estudiantes diagnosticados con TEA. A continuación, se desarrollará la investigación utilizando, como instrumento de recogida de datos, un cuestionario con ítems de probabilidad y combinatoria, para analizar los métodos y planteamientos seguidos en el caso concreto de un alumno de 12 años con TEA, que cursa quinto de primaria. Por último, se presentarán las conclusiones obtenidas tras la investigación
ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) is a neurobiological disorder that affects the development of different social, communication and behavioral skills.
In the present work, the strategies of a student in the fifth year of Primary Education with Autism Spectrum Disorder are described and analyzed when solving problems of probabilistic and combinatorial origin.
For this, first of all, a theoretical framework will be presented that will begin with the explanation of the main characteristics of the TEA in order to be able to understand the difficulties that will be taken into consideration throughout the entire research work. Subsequently, the convenient contents that are related to the resolution of mathematical problems and references related to learning to solve problems in students diagnosed with ASD will be analyzed. Next, the research will be carried out using, as a data collection instrument, a test with probability and combinatorics items, to analyze the methods and approaches followed in the specific case of a 12-year-old student with ASD, who is in the fifth grade of primary school. Finally, the conclusions obtained after the investigation will be presented.
