Sistema educativo finlandés ¿qué lo hace tan especial y qué podemos aprender de él?

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo trata de nutrir el campo de información que se tiene sobre el sistema educativo con mejores resultados en PISA, el Sistema Educativo finlandés. A través de lo que la literatura pedagógica nos aporta sobre el tema y el testimonio de una estudiante de máster, la cual se encuentra realizando sus prácticas curriculares en un colegio en Finlandia, el presente trabajo tiene por objetivo conocer y comprender más hondamente algunas claves organizativas, metodológicas y pedagógicas de este sistema. Utilizando una metodología cualitativa, se ha llegado a varias conclusiones, como que el gobierno hace una gran inversión en educación, que la profesión de la docencia se encuentra en un elevado estatus social, que los alumnos y alumnas finlandeses presentan una elevada autonomía o que muchas de las circunstancias que se dan en la escuela día a día, pueden deberse a razones culturales.

The following paper aims to add to the field of information about the education system with the best results in PISA, the Finnish education system. Through the pedagogical literature and the testimony of a Master's student, who is doing her curricular internship in a school in Finland, this paper aims to know and understand more deeply some of the organisational, methodological and pedagogical keys of this system. Using a qualitative methodology, several conclusions have been reached, such as that the government invests heavily in education, that the teaching profession has a high social status, that Finnish students have a high level of autonomy and that many of the circumstances that occur in schools on a daily basis may be due to cultural reasons.
