La aplicación de la Pizarra Digital Interactiva y los ordenadores como herramientas motivadoras para el aprendizaje en el alumnado de Segundo Ciclo de Educación Infantil en el curso 2022-2023

Abstract

Es indiscutible que las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación forman parte de la educación. Dentro de estas, las PDI y los ordenadores son las herramientas digitales más comunes en los colegios. Por ello, la siguiente investigación cualitativa, aborda los beneficios, riesgos y experiencias que ofrece la aplicación pedagógica de estas herramientas, y cómo influye su uso respecto a la motivación del alumnado de Segundo Ciclo de Educación Infantil en el curso 2022-2023 en un centro del País Vasco. La muestra está compuesta por 2 docentes con experiencia a las que hemos realizado una entrevista estructurada, obteniendo unos datos que, posteriormente, hemos analizado con ayuda de la demo del programa Atlas.ti 7.0. Los resultados muestran que las docentes valoran estas herramientas como algo positivo, calificándolas como motivadoras para los menores y enumerando diferentes motivos que justifican sus respuestas. Asimismo, es evidente que el uso de herramientas digitales con menores conlleva diferentes riesgos para docentes y menores, por este motivo, es necesario conocerlos con el fin de evitarlos. Promover un uso responsable de las PDI y los ordenadores en las aulas de Educación Infantil, puede ser clave para que todos puedan aprovechar los beneficios que aportan.

It is indisputable that Information and Communication Technologies are part of education. Within these, the most common digital tools in schools are the Interactive Whiteboards and computers. For this reason, the following qualitative research addresses the benefits, risks and experiences offered by the pedagogical application of these tools, and how their use influences the motivation of pupils in the Second Cycle of Infant Education in the 2022-2023 academic year in a school in the Basque Country. The sample is composed of 2 experienced teachers to whom we have conducted a structured interview, obtaining data that, subsequently, we have analyzed with the help of the demo of the Atlas.ti 7.0 program. The results show that teachers value these tools as something positive, describing them as motivating for children and listing different reasons to justify their answers. It is also clear, that the use of digital tools with children entails different risks for teachers and children, which is why it is necessary to be aware of them in order to avoid them. Promoting the responsible use of Interactive Whiteboards and computers in Early Childhood Education classrooms, can be the key for everyone to be able to take advantage of the benefits they bring.
