Influencia de la escuela alemana en el currículo de Educación Física de Cantabria: 6º curso

Abstract

El presente Trabajo Fin de Grado, se pretende realizar un análisis comparativo a través de la contemplación de las principales características de la Escuela Alemana que se encuentran presentes en el actual currículo de Educación Primaria en el área de Educación Física en la comunidad de Cantabria, específicamente en el sexto curso. Para ello, fue necesario realizar una revisión bibliográfica en relación con artículos y libros a través de una búsqueda de las principales características, ideales y rasgos propios de la escuela gimnástica a tratar, obteniendo una previa recogida de datos que posteriormente se emplearon para realizar una comparación con los contenidos vigentes en el currículo. Para la indagación de los contenidos a tratar se ha empleado Dialnet como la principal base de datos, recopilando un total de 12 documentos, utilizando palabras clave como fueron: “Escuela Alemana”, “Educación Física”, “Escuelas Gimnásticas”, “Deporte”, “Actividad Física” “Friedrich Ludwig Jahn” y “Guts Muths”. Para poder incluir o acotar la búsqueda fue necesario introducir el comando “and”. Los documentos empleados se encuentran situados en el tiempo entre el año 1993 hasta el año 2017. Entre la Escuela Alemana y el currículo de Educación Primaria en el área de Educación Física del sexto curso en la Comunidad de Cantabria, podemos encontrar puntos de conexión como son: la importancia del cuerpo, como elemento fundamental y su correspondiente cuidado y trabajo; la correcta coordinación dinámica de la región corporal, presentando un gran interés por el fortalecimiento corporal; la capacidad de expresión corporal como otro elemento esencial, otorgando al individuo un medio para poder manifestar sus ideas u opiniones; además de la importancia que tiene la naturaleza, considerándose en la Escuela Alemana un elemento esencial y en la actualidad, en el currículo, podemos ver cómo se ponen en práctica las normas para un correcto uso y cuidado del medio ambiente. Como conclusión, a través del análisis comparativo desarrollado, se ha podido contemplar una relación superficial entre los ideales de la Escuela Alemana y los contenidos del actual currículo de Educación Física en la etapa de Educación Primaria en Cantabria que hacen mención a los contenidos vinculados a la Escuela Alemana.

The present Final Degree Project is intended to carry out a comparative analysis through the contemplation of the main characteristics of the German School that are present in the current Primary Education Curriculum in the area of Physical Education in the community of Cantabria, specifically in the sixth grade. For this purpose, it was necessary to carry out a bibliographic review in relation to articles and books through a search of the main characteristics, ideals, and features of the gymnastic school to be dealt with, obtaining a previous collection of data that would later be used to make a comparison with the contents in force in the curriculum. For the investigation of the contents to be dealt with, Dialnet was used as the main database, using a total of 14 documents of the 119,780 copies found, using key words such as: "German School", "Physical Education", "Gymnastic Schools", "Sport", "Physical Activity", "Friedrich Ludwig Jahn" and "Guts Muths". To include or narrow the search it was necessary to enter the command "and". The documents used are in time between the year 1993 to the year 2017. Between the German School and the Primary Education curriculum in the Physical Education area of the sixth year in the Community of Cantabria, we can find connection points such as: the importance of the body, as a fundamental element and its corresponding care and work; the correct dynamic coordination of the body region, presenting great interest in body strengthening; the capacity for bodily expression as another essential element, giving the individual a means to be able to express his ideas or opinions and the importance of nature, since it is considered an essential element in the German School and currently, in the curriculum, we can see how the rules for proper use and care of the environment are put into practice. As a conclusion, through the comparative analysis developed, it has been possible to contemplate in a superficial way the presence of certain ideals that make mention to the contents linked to the German School. The evolution of Physical Education has been conditioned until today through the visible remains of the old gymnastic schools that have been building the current methodology used in the classroom.
