La destrucción del patrimonio edificado en Reinosa

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende hacer un análisis acerca de la destrucción del patrimonio edificado en el municipio de Reinosa centrándose en la evolución sufrida en los últimos 70 años, desde el desarrollismo a la actualidad. Se repasan varios ejemplos seleccionados de construcciones de valor arquitectónico que han desaparecido y otros que, sin haberlo hecho, han sido transformados. La reflexión se hace desde una perspectiva urbanística, basándose en los planes de ordenación urbana a lo largo del tiempo, y desde el punto de vista patrimonial, amparado por diferentes figuras legales de protección, que, en ocasiones, no han sido respetadas. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es detectar de manera sistemática los elementos del patrimonio que han desaparecido o han sido modificados hasta perder su valor patrimonial, y proponer la inclusión de nuevos inmuebles. Se tratan también aspectos estéticos, que, por su subjetividad, son cambiantes con el paso del tiempo y que, vistos desde una perspectiva actual pueden ayudar a entender por qué ha tenido lugar la destrucción del patrimonio en la ciudad

This work aims to conduct an analysis of the destruction of the built heritage in the territory of Reinosa, focusing on the evolution over the last 70 years, from the developmentalism years to the present. Several selected examples of buildings of architectural value that have disappeared, and others that, without having done so, have undergone transformations, are reviewed. The review is carried out from the urban point of view, based on the different urban planning schemes over time, and from the heritage point of view supported by the different legal protection figures, which, at times, have not been respected. The main objective of this work is to systematically identify the urban heritage elements that have disappeared or have been modified to the extent of losing their heritage value, and to propose the inclusion of new buildings. It also addresses aesthetic aspects, which, due to their subjectivity, are changing over time and which, seen from a current perspective, can help to understand why the destruction of heritage in the town has taken place.
