Estudio de estructuras metamateriales para el diseño de metasuperficies complejas

Abstract

El objetivo de este proyecto es diseñar estructuras metamateriales complejas a partir de una estructura seleccionada más simple, comprendiéndola y evolucionándola hasta llegar a una estructura mejorada, ya sea en dimensiones, ancho de banda o utilidad. La función que se contempla de estas estructuras metamateriales puede ir desde metasuperficies codificables, a reflexión anómala o incluso se ha contemplado la posibilidad de estructuras RIS, aunque no se han desarrollado finalmente. Para el estudio se ha utilizado la herramienta de software CST Microwave Suite ®, un simulador tridimensional de ondas electromagnéticas, y se adjuntarán los resultados de forma que se vea con claridad la respuesta tanto en reflexión como en fase de las distintas estructuras por las que ha ido pasando el proceso de diseño.

The objective of this project is to design complex metamaterial structures from a simpler selected structure, understanding it and evolving it until reaching an improved structure, either in dimensions, bandwidth,or utility. The function thoughtof these metamaterial structures can range from codable metasurfaces, to anomalous reflection or even the possibility of RIS structures has been contemplated, howeverthey have not been finally developed. For the study, the CST Microwave Suite ® software tool has been used, a three-dimensional simulator of electromagnetic waves, and the results will be attached so that the response is clearly seen both in reflection and in phase of the different structures through which thedesign process has passed.
