La enseñanza de la Economía

Abstract

La enseñanza de la economía contiene muchos elementos importantes, sin embargo, nos vamos a centrar en dos aspectos que consideramos los más determinantes, qué se enseña y cómo se enseña. Las diferentes corrientes políticas existentes, han tratado de asociarse con algunos modelos económicos defenestrando otros, hasta el punto de caer en el olvido y la exclusión, no solo en la política pública y en la sociedad, sino también en la educación. Desde este trabajo, trataremos de aportar a través de una mirada constructiva la importancia de todas estas corrientes económicas, planteándolas como necesarias en pos de una mejor y más completa educación económica y todo ello valorando qué metodologías y estrategias podemos llevar a cabo para mejorar la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de la economía.

The teaching of economics contains many important elements, however, we are going to focus on two aspects that we consider the most decisive, what is taught and how it is taught. The different existing political currents have tried to associate with some, defenestrating the others, to the point of falling into oblivion and exclusion, not only in public policy and in society, but also in education. From this work, we will try to contribute through a constructive view the importance of all economic currents, considering them as necessary in pursuit of a better and more complete economic education and all this by assessing what methodologies and strategies we can carry out to improve teaching and learning economics.
