Implementación de un ERP

Abstract

Este trabajo consiste en dar respuesta al aumento de la implementación del ERP en las empresas, tanto en España como en el resto del mundo. Por lo tanto, se plantearon los objetivos de conocer los beneficios del ERP y saber cómo gestionar el proceso de implementación de esta herramienta. Antes de dar la solución a estos objetivos y para contextualizar el trabajo, se propone dentro de la introducción, los orígenes del ERP y los sistemas de información. A continuación, se desarrolla una descripción de esta herramienta tratando sobre sus principales características, incluyendo cuales son las ventajas y desventajas de implementar un ERP, para concluir el marco teórico con las distintas formas de clasificar un ERP en función de varios criterios (criterio de Instalación, criterio de Diseño, criterio de desarrollo de código y criterio de Versatilidad) Posteriormente, se empezará a hablar sobre el estudio de implementación de un ERP, utilizando un ejemplo real para desarrollar este punto y plasmando los motivos que desembocaron en plantearse implementa esta herramienta. Para luego, con la ayuda de diversas consultorías seleccionar el ERP que mayor se adapte a las características y necesidades de la empresa. Dentro de este estudio de implementación y una vez escogido el ERP y la consultoría con la que trabajar, se desarrollarán todas las fases del proceso de implementación (planificación, análisis de requisitos funcionales, diseño de funcionalidades, construcción, formaciones a usuarios clave, migración de la información previa al ERP, pruebas con usuarios clave, implantación, post-Implantación y seguimiento). Para terminar, dando una conclusión sobre los objetivos planteados.

This work is aimed at addressing the increasing implementation of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems in companies, both in Spain and the rest of the world. Therefore, the objectives were set to understand the benefits of ERP and to know how to manage the implementation process of this tool. Before providing a solution to these objectives and to contextualize the work, the introduction proposes the origins of ERP and information systems. Next, a description of this tool is provided, covering its main features, including the advantages and disadvantages of implementing an ERP, concluding the theoretical framework with different ways to classify an ERP based on various criteria (Installation criterion, Design criterion, Code development criterion, and Versatility criterion). Subsequently, the discussion will begin on the implementation study of an ERP, using a real-life example to develop this point and outlining the reasons that led to considering the implementation of this tool. Then, with the assistance of various consulting firms, the ERP that best suits the company's characteristics and needs will be selected. Within this implementation study and once the ERP and consulting firm have been chosen, all phases of the implementation process will be developed (planning, functional requirements analysis, functionality design, construction, training for key users, migration of previous information to the ERP, testing with key users, deployment, post-implementation, and monitoring). Finally, a conclusion will be drawn regarding the objectives set forth.
