Resumen/Abstract
In this paper, a LINC-based (Lineal Amplification with Nonlinear Components) transmitting architecture, with remote power recycling capability, is proposed. Based on proof-of concept
2 GHz class E amplifiers, and with the aid of a dual-feed square patch, the desired communication signal is transmitted using a circular polarization. The usually lost RF power component, associated to the amplification of out-of-phase PM signals, is also radiated as an orthogonal circularly polarized wave, for wireless powering the receiver. Measurement results for a two-tone and a WCDMA excitation support the validity of the proposed approach.
