dc.description.abstract | This solution aims to take advantage of the behavior of the driven element of a Yagi-Uda beam antenna not only at its half wavelength resonance frequency, but also at its third harmonic resonance, making possible the use of a single feeder for the reception of TV signals on the III and IV bands. The usual clover leaf shaped pattern may be modified to obtain a better pattern in the forward direction and also a better F/B ratio by using another set of parasitic elements interlaced in the same boom. A prototype has been built and already in use with good results for some four years. | es_ES |
