Abstract

La tributación municipal y su vinculación con los servicios básicos, ofrecidos de manera dual por los ayuntamientos y las comunidades autónomas es, una incógnita que, gracias a un análisis estadístico de datos y su posterior análisis espacial, hacen posible el conocimiento de los patrones y la relación existentes entre ambas variables. A partir de fuentes estadísticas oficiales y municipales; y mediante el empleo de herramientas SIG, se consiguen descifrar las grandes diferencias existentes entre la Cantabria rural y la urbana, entre la Cantabria costera y la de interior, entre las comarcas más aisladas y las más accesibles…

Municipal taxation and its link with basic services, offered dually by city councils and autonomous communities, is an unknown that, thanks to a statistical analysis of data and its subsequent spatial analysis, makes possible the knowledge of the patterns and the existing relationship between both variables.
