dc.description.abstract	Este trabajo pretende echar luz sobre las formas en las que las mujeres laicas depositadas en conventos acudían a la justicia en busca de una alternativa a su compleja situación. Fuera por el abandono de sus cónyuges y el consecuente reclamo de bienes, por perpetrar engaños amorosos, o por ausentarse ilegítimamente del convento, estas mujeres lograron obtener la apertura de causas "secretas" a su nombre en la Chancillería de Valladolid, convirtiéndose en sujetos activos de las lógicas judiciales del siglo XVII. En este marco, cabe preguntarse por el uso que las féminas hicieron, conscientes o no, de dichos mecanismos en pos de hacer oír sus reclamos y obtener beneficios, así como también por la naturaleza de sus causas, las cuales aportan evidencias tanto de las razones morales y de honor por las que una mujer era depositada en un convento, como de aquellas por las que luego buscaba salir de él.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	This work aims to shed light on the ways in which laywomen deposited in convents turned to do justice in search of an alternative to their complex situation. Due to their spouses’ abandonment and the consequent claim to their property, for perpetrating amorous deceptions, or for being unlawfully absent from the convent, these women managed to obtain the opening of "secret" cases on their behalf at the Chancillería de Valladolid, therefore becoming active subjects in the judicial logics of the seventeenth century. In this context, it is worth asking ourselves about the use that women made, consciously or not, of these mechanisms in order to make their demands known and obtain benefits, as well as about the nature of their lawsuits, which provide evidence both of the moral and honour reasons for which a woman was deposited in a convent, and of those for which she, later, sought to leave it.	es_ES
