Proposición para BIC: guía manual de Santander para el año de 1793 de Pedro García de Diego

Abstract

El objeto de este TFM es realizar un informe técnico del primer libro impreso en Cantabria, en concreto en la ciudad de Santander, Guía Manual de Santander para el año de 1793, de Pedro García de Diego, y defender los motivos por los que, consideramos, merece ser reconocido como BIC (Bien de Interés Cultural) del Patrimonio de Cantabria. Para ello se presentará el estudio de todos los elementos que se muestran/reflejan en dicho bien patrimonial, desde su realización material (primer taller de imprenta en Cantabria) al contenido de la obra impresa (datos institucionales, económicos, culturales y sociales de Santander) y su autor. Sin olvidar la relación con otras guías posteriores de la ciudad de Santander o de su provincia.

The aim of this dissertation is to carry out a technical report on the first book printed in Cantabria, specifically in the city of Santander, Guía Manual de Santander para el año de 1793, by Pedro García de Diego, and to defend the reasons why, we believe, it deserves to be recognized as a BIC (Bien de Interés Cultural) of the Heritage of Cantabria. To this end, we will analyze all the elements that are shown/reflected in said heritage asset, from its material realization (first printing workshop in Cantabria) to the content of the printed work (institutional, economic, cultural and social data of Santander). and its author. Without forgetting the relationship with other later guides of the city of Santander or its province.
