Los ryokan son alojamientos turísticos tradicionales japoneses nacidos hace ya siglos atrás bajo otros nombres y características diferentes a la actualidad.
Antiguamente, estaban destinados a alojar viajeros que recorrían a pie o a caballo la península, así como a los grandes shogunes de la época, quienes buscaban un lugar de descanso durante sus largos viajes diplomáticos.
Actualmente, estos alojamientos están destinados principalmente a hospedar a aquellos turistas extranjeros que quieran vivir en sus propias carnes las costumbres tan arcaicas de los japoneses.
El objetivo de este proyecto es dar a conocer lo que es un ryokan, su origen y la hipotética creación de uno de ellos en el territorio japonés y estudiar mediante una encuesta la viabilidad de la apertura de un alojamiento de este estilo en España.

In the past, they were intended to accommodate travelers who traveled on foot or on horseback around the peninsula, as well as the great shoguns of the time, who were looking for a place to rest during their long diplomatic trips.
Today, these lodgings are mainly intended to accommodate foreign tourists who want to experience the archaic customs of the Japanese in their own flesh.
The aim of this project is to make known what a ryokan is, its origin and the hypothetical creation of one of them in the Japanese territory and to study through a survey the feasibility of opening an accommodation of this style in Spain.
