Análisis de plegado eficiente de mallas tensegríticas desplegables de doble capa

Abstract

El proyecto trata sobre las estructuras de tensegridad, principio que rige la base de sistemas con futuro potencial en distintos ámbitos de la construcción, como la ingeniería, la arquitectura o la robótica, proponiendo soluciones a problemas muy diversos. En este trabajo se expondrán las diferentes aplicaciones que se le han dado a las estructuras de tensegridad hasta el día de hoy. Una característica que diferencia y destaca a este tipo de estructuras es su capacidad para plegarse, reduciendo su extensión y volumen, lo que las hace idóneas para facilitar su transporte y almacenamiento. En este trabajo se realizará un estudio del plegado de mallas tensegríticas de doble capa, haciendo uso de diferentes programas de software con el fin de determinar el plegado más eficiente.

The main topic of the project is tensegrity structures, a principle that governs the basis of systems with future potential in different fields of construction, such as engineering, architecture or robotics, proposing solutions to very diverse problems. In this work, the different applications that have been given to tensegrity structures up to the present day will be presented. One characteristic that differentiates and highlights this type of structures is their ability to fold, reducing their extension and volume, which makes them ideal for easy transport and storage. In this work, a study of the folding of double-layer tensegrity meshes will be carried out, making use of different software programmes in order to determine the most efficient folding.
