RESUMEN En los últimos años, la sociedad en la que vivimos ha sufrido muchos cambios. Este hecho ha provocado que personas con diferentes ideas, modos de vida, de pensar convivan en el mismo lugar. Este fenómeno es conocido como diversidad. Es importante que lo conozcamos y respetemos ya que es necesario para construir una sociedad más justa donde todas las personas tengan las mismas oportunidades. La escuela tiene un papel muy importante en este aspecto ya que es un lugar adecuado para enseñar a convivir a los niños y conseguir así la integración de todos los individuos. Por esta razón, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo observar y entender los argumentos que dan los directores de diferentes colegios públicos y colegios privados sobre las fiestas escolares y la atención a la diversidad en las mismas.

ABSTRACT In the last few years, the society in which we live has undergone many changes. This fact has caused that people with different ideas, ways of life and thinking are living together in the same place. This phenomenon is known as diversity. It is important we know and respect it because it is necessary to build a fairer society where everyone has the same opportunities. School has a very important role about it because it is a suitable environment to teach children to coexist with different people for achieve the integration of everybody. For this reason, this work aims to observe and understand the arguments which are given by the heads of public schools and private schools about the school festivities and the attention to diversity.
