Abstract

La forma en que las empresas financian sus proyectos ha ido evolucionando a lo largo del tiempo y han ido surgiendo alternativas a la financiación bancaria donde destaca el sector del capital riesgo. Se trata de una estrategia financiera en donde la empresa inversora se hace poseedora de una pequeña parte de la empresa receptora durante un determinado tiempo, mejorándola y vendiéndola posteriormente para sacar un rendimiento. Durante los últimos años, la mayor estrategia de financiación que se ha implantado en España ha sido el Private Equity. Un instrumento de capital riesgo orientado a aquellas empresas que ya están desarrolladas y presentan un elevado potencial para obtener una mayor rentabilidad. Dada es la gran presencia que tiene hoy en día dicho instrumento en nuestro país que a pesar de los diferentes obstáculos que se han presentado en los últimos años en la economía mundial ha conseguido alcanzar números históricos, así como aportar soluciones en momentos difíciles y lograr su principal objetivo que no es otro que mejorar la rentabilidad de las empresas.

The way in which companies finance their projects has evolved over time and alternatives to bank financing have emerged, with the venture capital sector standing out. This is a financial strategy in which the investing company becomes the owner of a small part of the recipient company for a certain period of time, improving it and then selling it to obtain a return. During the last few years, the most important financing strategy that has been implemented in Spain has been Private Equity, a venture capital instrument oriented to those companies that are already developed and have a high potential to obtain a higher profitability. Given the great presence that this instrument has today in our country, despite the various obstacles that have arisen in recent years in the global economy, it has managed to reach historic numbers, as well as provide solutions in difficult times and achieve its main objective, which is none other than to improve the profitability of companies.
