La historia como herramienta para la justicia social: una propuesta didáctica

Abstract

RESUMEN La historia del ser humano se ha construido de una forma excluyente siguiendo los planteamientos e ideologías hegemónicas del poder político y de los grupos sociales culturalmente mayoritarios y dejando fuera a multitud de identidades minoritarias o culturalmente no-hegemónicas, como las femeninas, las obreras o las de minorías étnicas o sexuales. A través de esta propuesta didáctica buscamos defender el potencial de la disciplina histórica y de las asignaturas de historia como herramienta para ampliar las cotas de justicia social en las sociedades del presente a través del tratamiento de dichas realidades sociales invisibilizadas a través de la historia y, de esa manera, favorecer la convivencia pacífica y democrática entre los seres humanos. En el caso de esta propuesta, se hará a través de la realización de cuatro proyectos relacionados con la historia de las mujeres.

ABSTRACT The history of the human being has been constructed in an exclusive way, forged by the hegemony and ideology of political powers and dominant cultural groups. A multitude of "subordinate" identities, such as women, workers, ethnic or sexual minorities have been left out by the dominant narrative. Through this didactic proposal we seek to defend the potential of the historical discipline and subjects as a tool to expand the levels of social justice in present-day societies. In the case of this proposal, we have devised four didactic projects related to the history of women, which have always been overwritten. The ultimate goal of the project is to provide an example of how as teachers, we can promote peaceful and democratic coexistence among human beings through education.
