Antropología y literatura: desarraigo y añoranza de una familia de inmigrantes extremeños en el Madrid de los años sesenta del siglo XX. Una mirada a la literatura de Luis Landero

Abstract

RESUMEN: En los años sesenta del siglo XX, la emigración en el medio rural español adquirió una intensidad hasta entonces desconocida, cuyo destino se repartía entre unos pocos países europeos y algunas grandes ciudades españolas. Cuando aún alboreaba la década, se produce la emigración de una humilde familia campesina que, dejando atrás la inmisericorde campiña extremeña, decide instalarse en un barrio madrileño. Solo a través de una tenacidad sorprendente, podrá superar la ferocidad cotidiana de la ciudad con singular dignidad. Hoy conocemos con insólito detalle las vicisitudes de aquella familia, gracias al relato retrospectivo de Luis Landero, uno de los cuatro hijos del matrimonio, hoy convertido en un escritor consagrado. La marcada verosimilitud del relato y el respaldo autobiográfico del autor hacen del texto una historia de vida, dotada de una fuerza narrativa prodigiosa y de un valor antropológico único.

ABSTRACT: In the sixties of the 20th century, emigration in the Spanish rural environment acquired an intensity hitherto unknown, whose destination was shared between a few European countries and some large Spanish cities. When the decade was still beginning, the emigration of a humble peasant family took place. The family, leaving behind the merciless countryside of Extremadura, decided to settle in a Madrid neighborhood. Only through surprising tenacity, will they be able to overcome the everyday ferocity of the city with singular dignity. Today we know in unusual detail the vicissitudes of that family, thanks to the retrospective account of Luis Landero, one of the four children of the marriage, today converted into a consecrated writer. The marked verisimilitude of the story and the autobiographical support of the author make the text a life story, endowed with a prodigious narrative force and a unique anthropological value.
