dc.description.abstractIn this work, an analysis of the field components is made in order to establish a reference for the practical measurement of electric field or power a at distance well in the far field of radiation. Such reference distance can be considered as that where the reactive part of the Poynting vector is at least 30 dB below the real part. Even when the analysis is done for a current element, the results can be extended to real antennas and are in good agreement with the values found by other authors.es_ES
