Aplicación web del camino norte en Cantabria

Abstract

RESUMEN:El Camino de Santiago ha desempeñado durante siglos un papel relevante en la historia europea, no solo desde el punto de vista religioso, sino también desde el punto de vista histórico y cultural. Hoy en día, sigue jugando un papel importante en el desarrollo cultural, turístico y económico de la zona norte de España. Sin embargo, su enorme potencial está lejos de ser explotado a plenitud. El Camino del Norte es el único de las diferentes rutas del Camino de Santiago que pasa por Cantabria, atravesando toda la región en nueve etapas, de Este a Oeste, en una totalidad de unos 191,8 kilómetros. El proyecto consiste en el diseño y desarrollo de un sitio web moderno y dinámico, que ofrece información detallada, actualizada y exclusiva del Camino del Norte a su paso por Cantabria, y cuya apariencia y funcionamiento se adapta al dispositivo que se esté utilizando. Me baso en Angular, framework de JavaScript, como herramienta para desarrollar la aplicación web, y en Bootstrap, framework front-end que combina CSS y JavaScript, para crear un diseño responsivo. Los lenguajes de programación utilizados son HTML y CSS, para estructurar y dar estilos a la página, y TypeScript, superconjunto de JavaScript, para añadir funcionalidades. El sitio web ofrece, en español y en inglés, información general acerca del Camino y ampliada a nivel de cada etapa, con descripciones e imágenes de puntos de interés turístico, pronóstico meteorológico y albergues disponibles, entre otras cosas, con el objetivo de facilitar a los peregrinos y visitantes la organización de su recorrido e incentivar a realizar este Camino no tan común de manera segura, y por ende, el turismo en Cantabria. Además, los usuarios pueden emplear el foro para compartir su experiencia o realizar cualquier consulta mediante comentarios.

ABSTRACT: The Way of St James has played an important role in European history for centuries, not only from a religious point of view, but also from a historical and cultural point of view. Today, it continues playing an important role in the cultural, tourist and economic development of the northern part of Spain. However, its enormous potential is far from being fully exploited. The North Route is the only one of the different routes of the Way of St James that passes through Cantabria, crossing the entire region in nine stages, from East to West, in a total of about 191.8 kilometres. The project consists of the design and development of a modern and dynamic website, which offers detailed, up-to-date and exclusive information on the North Route as it passes through Cantabria, and whose appearance and operation adapts to the device being used. I rely on Angular, a JavaScript framework, as a tool to develop the web application, and on Bootstrap, a front-end framework that combines CSS and JavaScript, to create a responsive design. The programming languages used are HTML and CSS, to structure and style the page, and TypeScript, a superset of JavaScript, to add functionality. The website offers, in Spanish and English, general information about the North Route and expanded at the level of each stage, with descriptions and images of points of tourist interest, weather forecast and available hostels, among other things, with the aim of facilitating pilgrims and visitors the organization of their route and encourage them to carry out this not so common route safely, and therefore, tourism in Cantabria. In addition, users can use the forum to share their experience or make any query through comments.
