Estudio de las criptomonedas, bitcoin

Abstract

RESUMEN: El estudio que se realiza sobre las criptomonedas en general, y sobre la Bitcoin en particular ha permitido demostrar su valor por la gran expansión, pero también las limitaciones asociadas. A partir del trabajo se ha podido confirmar la tremenda complejidad del tema así como la desorbitada cantidad de información que existe. Tras realizar un estudio sobre los distintos tipos de criptomoneda, sus características y sus aplicaciones, el trabajo se ha centrado en la Bitcoin, profundizando en los motivos de su increíble expansión, los fines para los que se puede llegar a usar, la tecnología con la que trabaja y la respuesta del mundo ante este nuevo activo financiero. Es aquí donde se ha detectado que algunos países han detectado amenazas tras aceptar e interiorizar este sistema cómo ha sucedido en El Salvador, creando polémica y división entre las opiniones de las instituciones de gobierno y la población, mientras que otros países como Dinamarca, han obtenido resultados positivos, no con pocas restricciones en la regulación de la incertidumbre asociada a estas monedas. Finalmente, el trabajo ha permitido aplicar los conceptos y las herramientas desarrolladas a lo largo del Grado, poniendo en comparativa la situación de diferentes economías en el contexto internacional. Con ello, se ha podido confirmar la hipótesis de partida del trabajo, y es el gran potencial y la fragilidad de este tipo de moneda.

ABSTRACT: This work of cryptocurrencies and the detailed study carried out on Bitcoin has allowed us to demonstrate its value due to its great expansion, but also the associated limitations. From the work we have been able to be aware of the tremendous complexity of the subject and the exorbitant amount of information that exists. After carrying out a study on the different types of cryptocurrency, their characteristics and their applications, I have focused more on Bitcoin, going deeper in trying to know the reasons for its incredible expansion, the purposes for which it can be used, the technology with which it works and the world's response to this new financial asset. It is here where it has been detected that some countries have detected threats after accepting and internalizing this system, as has happened in El Salvador, creating controversy and division between the opinions of government institutions and the population, while other countries such as Denmark, have obtained positive results, with no few restrictions in the regulation of the uncertainty associated with these currencies. Finally, the work has made it possible to apply the concepts and tools developed throughout the Degree, comparing the situation of different economies in the international context. This has confirmed the starting hypothesis of the work, which is the great potential and fragility of this type of currency.
