La prensa económica en Cantabria: economía montañesa (1949-1955)

Abstract

RESUMEN:Este estudio es un análisis exhaustivo de la presa económica en Santander a lo largo de todo el siglo XX, sobre todo, centrándose en la revista "Economía Montañesa" como eje central de este proyecto. A partir de esta revista publicada por la Cámara de Comercio, se ira descubriendo una amplia variedad de revistas de diferentes años que la Cámara de Comercio ha ido publicando durante todos estos años. Basándose en el Catálogo de Publicaciones Periódicas de Cantabria de la Biblioteca Municipal de Santander se abre un camino que pocas veces se ha pisado anteriormente. Desde la primera revista hasta la última, se descubren detalles que marcaron épocas y se sumerge al lector en el mundo de la prensa histórica, que nada tiene que ver con la de ahora, incluyendo incluso fotografías de tomos en microfilm. Este estudio no es tan solo un análisis de la revista “Economía Montañesa”, sino también una investigación de todas las revistas que la preceden y suceden, analizando cada una de ellas e instando a los futuros estudiantes a que vuelquen sus conocimientos en la prensa histórica de Santander. Este proyecto pretende hacer ver que hay información histórica de la economía de Santander y, tras leer este estudio, toda la información queda en manos del lector para que no muera en el olvido. Además, en el trabajo se podrá observar paso a paso, todo el trabajo de investigación llevado a cabo para conseguir toda esta información así como detalles que no mucha gente conoce como el precio de las revistas tanto nacional como internacional, el tipo de publicidad que había en esa época, las frases más célebres, los mapas tan realistas para la época en la que se encontraba la revista e incluso testimonios de cómo la gente pedía a la Cámara de Comercio más tomos de esta revista, dado que en su época era muy consultada. En resumen, toda la información nunca vista de la prensa histórica de Santander desglosada a continuación.
