Comparación de la calidad de la sanidad pública y privada en España

Abstract

RESUMEN: En este trabajo se analizará la calidad y eficiencia del sistema público español de salud respecto al sistema privado. Los usuarios em la gran mayoría de casos desconocen que servicio les puede dar mayor calidad y eso repercute en su bienestar. Con las estadísticas del ministerio de sanidad español y las regresiones realizadas con las variables proxy, se estudiarán para ver si hay diferencias entre el sistema público o privado. Es decir, si se cumple o no la ley de contratos incompletos. Esta ley de contratos explica como las empresas privadas que proporcionan servicios, en este caso servicio sanitarios, tienen incentivos para disminuir los costes de su actividad, repercutiendo en la calidad y eficiencia del servicio. En el caso de España no se cumple esta situación por lo que no existen diferencias en términos de calidad de los servicios públicos y privados de salud

ABSTRACT: This paper will analyze the quality and efficiency of the Spanish public health system compared to the private system. Users in the vast majority of cases do not know what service can give them higher quality and that affects their well-being. With the statistics of the Spanish Ministry of Health and the regressions carried out with the proxy variables, they will be studied to see if there are differences between the public or private system. That is, whether or not the law of incomplete contracts is fulfilled. This contract law explains how private companies that provide services, in this case health services, have incentives to reduce the costs of their activity, having an impact on the quality and efficiency of the service. In the case of Spain, this situation is not met, so there are no differences in terms of quality of public and private health services.
