El decembrismo ruso, la Constitución de Cádiz y la Revolución de 1820

ABSTRACT

RESUMEN La revuelta decembrista acaecida en diciembre de 1825 supuso la primera experiencia revolucionaria de carácter liberal en el Imperio ruso. Las experiencias revolucionarias europeas previas, así como el convulso contexto geopolítico de los últimos compases del siglo XVIII y los primeros del siglo XIX, marcado por las guerras de Coalición en Europa, generarán un caldo de cultivo propicio para el surgimiento de una propuesta revolucionaria liberal propiamente rusa. El proceso revolucionario iniciado en la parte europea del Imperio español a raíz de la invasión francesa de 1808, que culminará con la proclamación de la Constitución de Cádiz en 1812, servirá de precedente para los revolucionarios rusos. La invasión de Rusia por parte de la Francia napoleónica acercará, dado el contexto, a las autoridades liberales españolas a la Rusia zarista, y avivará el desarrollo de grupos revolucionarios entre la nobleza y el Ejército ruso. La Revolución de Cabezas de San Juan de 1820 supondrá de nuevo un importante precedente para el movimiento decembrista. El presente trabajo examina las influencias del primer liberalismo español, materializado en la Constitución de Cádiz y en la Revolución de 1820, en el movimiento decembrista ruso.

ABSTRACT The Decembrist revolt that took place in December 1825 was the first liberal revolutionary experience in the Russian Empire. The previous European revolutionary experiences, as well as the unstable geopolitical context of the last decades of the XVIII century and the first of the XIX century, marked by the Coalition wars in Europe, will create an ideal environment for the emergence of a properly Russian liberal revolutionary proposal. The revolutionary process initiated in the European part of the Spanish Empire as a result of the French invasion in 1808, which will led to the proclamation of the Cadiz Constitution in 1812, would serve as a precedent for the Russian revolutionaries. The invasion of Russia by Napoleonic France will, given the context, bring the liberal Spanish authorities closer to Czarist Russia, and will accelerate the development of revolutionary groups among the Russian aristocracy and the Russian army. The Revolution of Cabezas de San Juan of 1820 will once again be an important precedent for the Decembrist movement. The present project examines the influences of the first Spanish liberalism, materialized in the Constitution of Cadiz and in the Revolution of 1820, in the Russian Decembrist movement.
