RESUMEN: El turismo se ha convertido en el sector más relevante del país, debido a la riqueza que aporta a la economía española. En los últimos años han surgido distintas tipologías de turismo con la finalidad de satisfacer las necesidades de la demanda, que busca experimentar sensaciones, emociones y vivencias que el turismo de aventura proporciona. Surge de esta manera el turismo activo, modalidad perteneciente al turismo de naturaleza, en auge hoy en día debido al incremento de interés por las actividades que lo conforman.
La finalidad de este Trabajo de Fin de Grado es realizar un análisis de las diversas empresas que ofertan estos servicios en la comunidad autónoma de Cantabria, que con sus abundantes recursos naturales y paisajes ejemplares se convierte en el escenario perfecto para llevarlas a cabo.
Para realizar el pertinente estudio partiremos del concepto de turismo activo evitando así interpretaciones equívocas, detallaremos las diferentes actividades que forman parte de esta modalidad, ahondaremos en las nuevas certificaciones que cada vez más empresas emplean como herramienta de competitividad y de mejora, para a continuación realizar un análisis de la oferta de este tipo de turismo en Cantabria.
Como técnica de estudio realizaremos un análisis de las páginas webs de aquellas empresas que ofertan actividades de turismo activo en Cantabria, estando la gran parte de ellas concentradas en la zona de Trasmiera.
ABSTRACT: Tourism has become the most relevant sector in the country, due to the wealth it contributes to the Spanish economy. In recent years, different types of tourism have emerged in order to meet the needs of the demand, which seeks to experience sensations, emotions and experiences that adventure tourism provides. This is how active tourism, a modality belonging to nature tourism, has arisen, which is booming nowadays due to the increase of interest in the activities that make it up.
The purpose of this Final Degree Project is to carry out an analysis of the different companies that offer these services in the autonomous community of Cantabria, which with its abundant natural resources and exemplary landscapes becomes the perfect scenario to carry them out.
In order to carry out the pertinent study we will start from the concept of active tourism, thus avoiding misleading interpretations, we will detail the different activities that are part of this modality, we will delve into the new certifications that more and more companies are using as a tool for competitiveness and improvement, to then carry out an analysis of the offer of this type of tourism in Cantabria.
As a study technique, we will carry out an analysis of the web pages of those companies that offer active tourism activities in Cantabria, most of them concentrated in the area of Trasmiera.
