Plan de viabilidad de una empresa naval

Abstract

RESUMEN: En los últimos años, el sector marítimo y naval ha incremento su importancia, proporcionando grandes beneficios a la economía del país. Además, con el nuevo programa aprobado por el Gobierno incrementará tanto la competitividad como la facturación, proporcionando a su vez más puestos de trabajo, lo cual beneficia a todo el país y en especial a una comunidad autónoma como Cantabria, históricamente vinculada a este sector, donde se encuentra la compañía analizada. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es realizar un estudio sobre la viabilidad de Astilleros de Santander SAU. Para el cual se ha de analizar tanto internamente (análisis DAFO, estructura, servicios prestados) como los agentes externos que influyen en ella (competencia, proveedores, sector). Los datos utilizados para poder llegar a una conclusión se han obtenido en gran medida de la empresa propiamente, llevando a cabo un amplio abanico de cinco años, desde el 2017 hasta el 2021, para llegar a conclusiones reales, sin verse afectadas por los acontecimientos extraordinarios dados durante cada año en particular. Una vez realizado el trabajo, se ha llegado a la conclusión de que Astilleros de Santander es una empresa consolidada y fiable dentro del sector naval. Pudiendo afirmar, que, a pesar de las dificultades sufridas durante estos años, principalmente la pandemia del COVID-19, ha sabido realzarse y posicionarse como una empresa influyente y en auge.

ABSTRACT: In recent years, the maritime and naval sector has increased its importance, providing great benefits to the country's economy. Moreover, with the new programme approved by the Government it will increase both competitiveness and turnover. In turn providing more jobs, which benefits the country as in this case the autonomous community of Cantabria, where the analysed company is located. The main objective of the work is to conclude whether the chosen company, Astilleros de Santander SAU, is profitable or not. For which it has been analyzed both internally (SWOT analysis, structure, services provided) and external agents that influence it (competition, suppliers, industry). The data used to be able to reach a conclusion have been largely obtained from the company itself, carrying out a wide range of five years, from 2017 to 2021, in order to reach real conclusions, without being affected by extraordinary events given during each particular year. Once the work has been carried out, it has been concluded that Astilleros de Santander is a consolidated and reliable company within the naval sector. We can affirm that, in spite of the difficulties suffered during these years, mainly the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been able to enhance and position itself as an influential and growing company.
