RESUMEN A lo largo de las últimas décadas, las universidades han comenzado a prestar atención a
su oferta patrimonial, creando distintos órganos que se encarguen de su gestión y difusión.
En el caso de la Universidad de Cantabria, el principal responsable es el Área de
Exposiciones. El presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster ofrece un estudio de este cuerpo:
partiendo de una breve descripción de la historia y evolución del Área, se analiza su
situación actual a partir de un cuestionario y de un análisis DAFO. Finalmente, y teniendo
en cuenta los resultados obtenidos, se proponen una serie de estrategias que ayuden a
fomentar su reconocimiento en la comunidad tanto intra como extrauniversitaria. El
objetivo final es examinar su estado actual y plantear alternativas que ayuden a su
promoción.
ABSTRACT Over the last few decades, universities have begun to pay attention to their heritage offer,
creating different bodies responsible for its management and dissemination. In the case
of the University of Cantabria, the main responsible for this is the Exhibitions
Department. This Master's Thesis offers a study of this body: starting with a brief
description of the history and evolution of the Area, its current situation is analysed on
the basis of a questionnaire and a SWOT analysis. Finally, and taking into account the
results obtained, a series of strategies are proposed to help promote its recognition in the
community, both within and outside the university. The final objective is to examinate
his current state and propose alternatives to help promote it.
