Plataforma para la gestión de experimentos de medición roundrobin

Abstract

RESUMEN: Hoy en día la digitalización de empresas es uno de los aspectos más demandados en el mundo del software. Muchas empresas necesitan sistemas de información con los que poder tratar sus datos más eficientemente. Además, esta digitalización permite, en muchos de los casos, aumentar el ritmo de trabajo y por tanto contar con mayores beneficios en menos tiempo. Uno de los sectores que en algunas ocasiones no dispone de una plataforma digital adecuada son los centros de investigación. En concreto, en este trabajo nos centraremos en la realización de experimentos round-robin. En este tipo de experimentos, varios centros trabajan conjuntamente a nivel mundial para analizar y establecer propiedades fisicoqíımicas de materiales. De entre los centros participantes, existe un centro coordinador del experimento que define las pruebas a realizar. Todos los centros involucrados realizan dichas pruebas y comparten los resultados con el coordinador para que este los analice y compare mediante tests estadísticos. En un caso cercano conocido, este tipo de experimentos se ha gestionado mediante comunicaciones vía email, lo que supone un trabajo tedioso y propenso a errores para los investigadores. Por lo tanto, este trabajo tiene como objetivo la creación de una plataforma web para la gestión de experimentos round-robin. Por un lado, esta plataforma permitiría a los participantes recibir las instrucciones de las medidas a realizar directamente del coordinador del experimento, así como compartir las medidas analizadas y proporcionar otros datos técnicos de interés. Por otro lado, esta herramienta proporcionará al coordinador una plataforma en la que establecer formularios para los participantes donde recoger toda la información necesaria, así como almacenar las diferentes medidas para su posterior análisis.

ABSTRACT: Nowadays, the digitization of companies is one of the most demanded tasks in the software world. Many companies need information systems to process their data more ef ficiently. In addition, this digitization allows, in many cases, to increase the pace of work and therefore to have greater benefits in less time. One of the sectors that frequently does not have have a well-known digital platform to carry out certain tasks are research centers. Concretely, in this paper we focus on perfor ming round-robin experiments. In this type of experiments, these centers work together worldwide to analyze and establish physicochemical properties of materials. Among the participating centers, there is an existing coordinating center of the experiment who de fines some tests to be carried out. Every participant center involved in the experiment perform the defined test and share the results with the coordinator so that he can analyze and compare them through statistical tests. In a well-known close case, this type of experiments has been managed through com munications via email, which is a tedious and error-prone job for researchers. Therefore, this work aims to create a web platform for the management of round-robin experiments. On the one hand, this platform will allow participants to receive the instructions of the measures to be carried out directly from the coordinator of the experiment, as well as sharing the measures analyzed and provide other technical data of interest. On the other hand, this tool will provide the coordinator with a platform to establish forms for the par ticipants where he can collect all the necessary information, as well as store the different measures for later analysis.
