Turismo de lujo en Cantabria

Abstract

RESUMEN: El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar si Cantabria es un destino con potencial para explotar el turismo de lujo. Se explicará lo que es el Turismo de Lujo, sus principales características, como ha ido evolucionando con los años, el perfil del turista de lujo y sus principales destinos. Las necesidades y expectativas que tienen los turistas de lujo hoy en día dejaron atrás la opulencia y definición tradicional para ir en buscar de algo más especial y exclusivo. Por otro lado, también se va a estudiar el turismo de lujo que existe en la Comunidad Autónoma de Cantabria. Conociendo sus hoteles, el perfil de turista que recibe, explicaremos los cruceros de lujo que está recibiendo Cantabria este año y por último se va a realizar un análisis DAFO, sobre el turismo de lujo en Cantabria

ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to analyse whether Cantabria is a destination with the potential to exploit luxury tourism. It will be explained what luxury tourism is, its main characteristics, how it has evolved over the years, the profile of the luxury tourist and its main destinations. The needs and expectations of today´s luxury tourists have left behind the traditional definition of opulence and to go and find something more special and exclusive. On the other hand, it is also going to be studied the luxury tourism that exists in the Autonomous Community of Cantabria. We will get to know its hotels, the tourists profile that it receives, the luxury cruises that Cantabria is receiving this year and finally we will carry out a SWOT analysis on luxury tourism in Cantabria.
