Aparato detector de dispositivos USB maliciosos

Abstract

Desde hace años las tecnologías de información y comunicación ha revolucionado el mundo. Esto tiene una parte negativa, ya que antiguamente no nos podíamos ni imaginar a los peligros a los que estaríamos expuestos hoy en día debido a estas tecnologías. Hay un esfuerzo muy grande por prevenir y educar a la sociedad en algunos de estos peligros, pero hay un tipo de ataque que ha pasado desapercibido. Los dispositivos USB son un medio de transmisión de código malicioso, que a pesar de no ser el más común, es conveniente protegerse. Debido a esto, este trabajo de fin de grado pretende crear una herramienta capaz de detectar y prevenir al usuario de dispositivos USB que puedan vulnerar su ordenador. El resultado del trabajo es un dispositivo que un usuario puede utilizar para evaluar la peligrosidad de dispositivos USB antes de enchufarlos a su equipo. El dispositivo detecta algunos ataques realizados a través de puertos USB. Consiguiendo proteger al usuario de estos dispositivos maliciosos.

For years, information and communication technologies have revolutionised the world. This has a negative side, as in the past we could not even imagine the dangers we would be exposed to today because of these technologies. There is a great effort to educate society on some of these dangers, but there is one type of attack that has gone unnoticed. USB devices are a means of transmitting malicious code, which, although not the most common, is worth protecting against. Because of this, this final degree project aims to create a tool capable of detecting and preventing the user from USB devices that could breach their computer. The result of the work is a device that a user can use to evaluate the danger of USB devices before plugging them into their computer. The device detects some attacks carried out through USB ports. It is able to protect the user from these malicious devices.
